I’m Mai Mostafa, a human-centered designer and developer who’s always looking for the next problem to solve

For as long as I can remember, I was told that I ask too many questions.

Fortunately for me, I always viewed that as a strength. Growing up, I was the kid constantly asking “why?”. Something that, although frustrated my parents, ultimately shaped how I think and work. Today, that curiosity drives me to design and build solutions that bring value to people’s lives.

I love creating. Whether it’s drawing, programming, writing, or teaching; I thrive on making things that connect with people. My interests span across education, design, and technology. These fields are ones where I can use creativity to make everyday experiences more meaningful.

What excites me most is seeing the impact of my work; the joy on someone’s face when they interact with something I’ve made, or when I’ve created something that helps solve a real problem. For me, design is about more than aesthetics, it’s about empathy, exploration, and building tools that matter.

I’m always eager to try new things, to keep learning, and to create work that makes a difference.

When I’m not working on my next project, you can usually find me…
